Drive Automation at Scale with Microsoft Power Platform

A major Nordic financial institution is entering an expansive phase in its Intelligent Automation initiative, focused on transforming business processes through emerging technologies. With key attention now placed on Microsoft solutions, including Copilot Studio, M365 Copilot, and Power Automate, the organisation is building a forward-thinking platform environment that empowers employees and accelerates innovation.

To support this transformation, the Platform Team is seeking a skilled and solutions-oriented Software Engineer to lead critical Power Platform deployment activities and support robust integration across the enterprise. This role is central to shaping automation readiness in a highly secure, regulated environment.

About the Role

You will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining the Microsoft Power Platform within a complex enterprise ecosystem. This is a hands-on role that requires a mix of technical expertise, infrastructure management, and cross-functional coordination. On-site presence is required due to the nature of the systems and collaboration needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the deployment and configuration of Microsoft Power Platform solutions, ensuring successful integration with enterprise systems
  • Provide technical support and issue resolution for Power Platform applications, with a focus on Power Automate workflows
  • Oversee and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, and platform performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimise disruptions during deployment and deliver stable platform operations
  • Monitor, manage, and proactively improve the performance and availability of platform environments
  • Identify and address technical issues in a structured and proactive manner
  • Promote governance and compliance in all platform operations, ensuring full alignment with regulatory standards

What We Are Looking For

Required qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in deploying Microsoft Power Platform applications, particularly Power Automate
  • Proven skills in server administration (Windows and/or Linux)
  • Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure management in support of application deployment
  • Familiarity with SQL Server and other database systems as they relate to platform integration
  • Analytical skills for diagnosing deployment issues and ensuring high platform availability
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
  • Understanding of governance and security requirements within regulated IT environments

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in training or enabling technical and business teams to use automation tools
  • Familiarity with Microsoft’s Copilot products and intelligent workflow orchestration

What You Can Expect

  • A hands-on technical role in a growing automation initiative at a leading financial institution
  • Opportunities to shape and influence the foundation of intelligent automation across the organisation
  • A collaborative environment that values proactive thinking and structured problem-solving
  • Direct engagement with business, IT, and compliance teams to build resilient and compliant solutions
